👋 Hello, my name is Sam, and this is my website.

💻 I primarily use this as a place to share notes. These typically relate to Software Engineering, covering technologies such as Python, Django, C, SDL2, GitLab and Hugo, though occasionally I’ll stray into unrelated topics such as bicycles.

🇬🇧 🇺🇸 I’m based in Cambridgeshire in the UK, but previously spent a few years living in Washington, USA.

☕ My favourite drink is jasmine tea, though I also enjoy coffee.

🕹️ In the past I developed a multitude of free video games, most notably Dominos 2: Winter Edition, which got an “honourable mention” in the Yoyogames winter competition back in 2007.

I’ve also published a couple of commercial video games:

• Bumps
• Domino’s Adventure (for iPhone/iPod Touch)

🥾 For fun I like playing board games, reading, and going hiking, though I’ve yet to find any mountains in the fens.
